A Length:Place the end of the tape beside the collar at the top of the tee (Highest Point Shoulder). Pull the tape measure to the bottom of the shirt.

B Width:Place the end of the tape at the seam under the sleeve and pull the tape measure across the shirt to the seam under the opposite sleeve.

You want you necklace/pendant to sit either on top of your clothes, or on bare skin, but not skimming the edge of the neckline, where the pendant will constantly disappear behind the edge of the top.The illustration below is a rough guide.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FINGER FOR THE PERFECT RING SIZE.

Tips for Measuring Your Ring Size:

1. Temperature, humidity, and exercise can also temporarily change finger size. One other thing

we should remember when measuring our ring size is that we have to size it up when the day is
almost over since this is the time that our fingers are at their largest.
2. Don’t take measurements after showering, being outdoors in the winter, vigorous exercise,
etc. Measuring cold fingers could give you an inaccurate reading since our fingers are at their smallest when they are
cold. For the best fit, measure the finger at room temperature toward the end of the day when the finger at its largest.
3. A woman’s menstrual cycle can also increase the finger size slightly because of water retention. If you don’t want to end
up with a loose fitting ring most of the time, try not to make a measurement during your menstrual cycle.
4. If the finger joints are prominent, measure the widest part of the finger.
5. The average woman’s ring size is about 6 while the average man’s ring size is about 10.
6. If you measure your finger and find out that your size is in between two different sizes you should pick the larger size.

How do I do this practically?

There are two ways to do this: 

1. I don't know my ring size and have another ring

You can determine your ring size by using a ring you already own and that fits perfectly. Take the ring and place it in the middle of the units on a ruler. Place the inside of the the ring on the 0cm value and read the millimetres reached on the other inside. You now have your diameter ring size. 

2. I don't know my ring size and I don't have a ring

Use a piece of paper to measure the circumference of your finger:
Wrap a piece of paper around the base of the finger on which you will be wearing the ring. You can easily mark the spot where the paper meets with a pen or pencil. Remember that the ring needs to slide over your knuckles so do not wrap the paper too tightly. Use a millimetre ruler to measure its length. You can now use this value to order your ring!

You can also use a piece of string …
Wrap the piece of string around the base of the finger on which you will be wearing the ring and cut the string where the string meets. MUse a millimetre ruler to measure the length of the cut piece of string. You can now use this value to order your ring!

6 yards - inner diameter 1.6cm - suitable for 5 cm finger circumference 

7 yards - inner diameter 1.7cm - suitable for 5.3 cm finger circumference

 8 yards - inner diameter 1.8cm - suitable for 5.7 cm finger circumference 

9 yards - inner diameter 1.9cm - suitable for 6 cm finger circumference 

10 yards - 2cm inside diameter - suitable for 6.3 cm finger circumference 

11 yards - inner diameter 2.1cm - suitable for 6.6 cm finger circumference

 12 yards - inner diameter 2.2cm - suitable for 6.9 cm finger circumference 

13 yards - inner diameter 2.3cm - suitable for 7.2 meters of finger circumference.
